The challenge

Wessex Water provides water and waste treatment services to 2.8 million customers across the South West of England. They needed a way to streamline the scheduling and processing of waste products arriving at treatment centres, routing tankers to sites with spare capacity, the right processing capability, and physical access for the vehicle size involved.

Our solution

AnyCal, RocketCX's proprietary intelligent booking system built on the Salesforce platform, considers waste type, volume, toxicity, current site capacity and source location to determine the most appropriate treatment centre and the specific tank or bay for delivery. AnyCal is integrated with a Salesforce Community so clients can choose their own delivery slot online based on storage capacity and vehicle location.

The outcome

Weighbridge data flows into Salesforce to calculate waste storage capacity and generate the corresponding invoice. Wessex Water uses its storage and treatment resource more efficiently, reduces client delivery costs by directing tankers to the nearest site and delivers an all-round better service.
