The challenge
Insight Healthcare is a not-for-profit organisation bringing together healthcare professionals, clients and treatment venues across the UK. Pairing the right practitioner with the right client in a suitable venue meant juggling many variables, and the rising volume of daily bookings was consuming significant staff time. Insight needed a streamlined patient management system that could weigh multiple factors quickly and easily.
Our solution
RocketCX recognised that Insight's requirements could be largely served by AnyCal, our proprietary smart booking app built on the Salesforce platform. AnyCal provides a colour-coded drag-and-drop calendar with daily, weekly and monthly views, and exposes calendars for contacts and venues without additional license costs. We extended AnyCal to incorporate client preferences and location, returning a shortlist of matching practitioners and venues on a map view.
The outcome
Bookings update the calendar in real time so appointments never overlap, and SMS plus email reminders are automatically sent. The result is better use of scarce clinical resource, a more personal service for clients and higher attendance rates. The original 2014 rollout has grown to a Salesforce instance with over 20 services and 500+ licensed users, with new projects continually planned.
